FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Designed for cows grazing lush green winter pasture such as wheat, oats or rye, when grass tetany may be a problem.
  • Contains 13% calcium, 3% phosphorus, 10% magnesium, and 16% salt along with optimal fortification of vitamins and trace minerals. Some of high mag minerals contain higher levels of magnesium (14%) and possibly more phosphorus and less calcium. However, magnesium has a bitter taste and thus intake of a 14% magnesium mineral is generally lower than that of a 10% product. As a result, feeding a 10% magnesium mineral generally results in greater actual magnesium intake.
  • High level of calcium (13%) is of benefit since cows with grass tetany generally have low blood concentrations of calcium.
  • Most cool season pastures contain more than adequate levels of phosphorus so the 3% phosphorus level in this product is ample for cattle grazing these forages.
  • Formulated only with the highest quality and most biologically available forms of minerals. High biological availability means that the minerals are more easily and completely absorbed and utilized by livestock.
  • Palatable mineral ensuring that cattle eat the proper amounts to meet their nutrient requirements.
  • Formulated with mineral sources that are consistent and uniform in particle size meaning that every mineral bite is a consistent mix of the right nutrients for optimal performance.
  • Formulated to achieve predictable, consistent consumption based on the nutrient content of the mineral and the needs of the livestock resulting in predictable, consistent livestock performance.
