FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Specifically designed to meet the mineral and vitamin needs of stocker calves grazing summer pasture or consuming other roughages.
- Medicated with 1400 mg/lb of chlortetracycline (CTC). Feeding this mineral at a rate of 4 oz per head daily will provide 350 mg of CTC, which aids in the control of bacterial pneumonia associated with shipping fever complex caused by Pasteurella spp.
- Research has also shown that feeding 350 mg/day of CTC will increase daily gains of stocker calves grazing summer pasture by 10 to 12% or about 0.2 lbs. Other benefits commonly observed with CTC include increased weaning weights, improved conception rates, reduction in scours and the incidence of foot rot.
- Formulated only with the highest quality and most biologically available forms of minerals. High biological availability means that the minerals are more easily and completely absorbed and utilized by livestock.
- Palatable mineral ensuring that cattle eat the proper amounts to meet their nutrient requirements.
- Formulated with mineral sources that are consistent and uniform in particle size meaning that every mineral bite is a consistent mix of the right nutrients for optimal performance.
- Formulated to achieve predictable, consistent consumption based on the nutrient content of the mineral and the needs of the livestock resulting in predictable, consistent livestock performance.
