Pilgrim’s Feed is proud to provide feed for Texas Thunder, Priefert Ranch Equipment’s team of black Percheron Draft horses. Percherons, a breed that originated in France, have been used as workhorses in the United States for generations. Each horse in the Texas Thunder team weighs an average of 2000 pounds and stands an average of 18 hands. One of these horses, Goliath, stands 19 hands, 1" tall, or 6'5" at the withers and is known as the tallest living horse in the world.
